Best online casinos, reviewed and rated

How we pick the casinos on this page

Choosing an online casino is harder than it looks. Every site promises big bonuses and fast payouts, and the details that matter are usually buried in the terms. Our job is to dig those details out for you, so you can compare casinos on what they really offer.

Casino Affairs started when two programmers working in the gambling industry decided to build the kind of review site they wanted to read themselves. Today a review team of more than ten people checks each casino: who licenses it, how deposits and withdrawals work, what the bonus rules really say, how good the game library is, and how quickly support answers.

• A better approach to reviews. We open accounts, read the full terms and look at what players say, not just what the casino says about itself.
• An accurate casino database. We keep ratings, offers and key facts up to date, and we flag casinos that change their terms.
• Real understanding of gambling maths. Wagering requirements, RTP and house edge decide how much a bonus is really worth. We explain them in plain language.

We only list casinos we would be comfortable recommending to a friend. If a site stops meeting that bar, it drops down the list or comes off it.

What makes a casino worth your time

A great casino is more than a big welcome offer. When our experts rate a site, three things carry the most weight.

• Games you will actually enjoy. A good mix of classic table games, modern slots and live dealer tables from respected studios.
• Bonuses with fair rules. Promotions that keep giving after sign-up, with wagering requirements you can realistically meet.
• Support that shows up. A responsive team, ideally available around the clock, that solves problems instead of sending templates.

On top of that we check licensing, payment options and withdrawal speed, because a casino is only as good as its last payout.

Sweepstakes casinos or real-money casinos?

If you are in the United States, you will see two kinds of sites on Casino Affairs. Sweepstakes casinos such as Chumba Casino and LuckyLand Slots use Gold Coins for fun play and Sweeps Coins that can be redeemed for prizes, and no purchase is needed to play. They are open in most states, though a few states restrict them.

Real-money online casinos like BetMGM or BetRivers take deposits in dollars and pay out cash, but they are licensed state by state, so you can only play while you are in a state where they operate. Each review tells you which model a casino uses and where it is available.
